IN THE NEWS:
An excerpt from a letter of
thanks from Georges Aschkar, Vice President of the Haitian Sports Foundation
dated May 15, 2010 to the Sacred Music Chorale of Richmond Hill:
"On behalf of the Haitian Sports Foundation, I would like to thank you for the great concert you presented on Sunday,
April 18, 2010. The Board members and their families enjoyed it a great deal. The music, the voice, the decor, the
orchestra--everything was perfect.
I am happy to inform you that we collected $2500 from the members of the church plus other items such as clothing,
school supplies, etc. The donation will make a big difference in the lives of the children. It will provide one daily meal
for 5 months to close to one hundred children.
Again, thank you for your financial support. Please visit our website to see the progress of the children through our
gallery: www.haitiansportsfoundation.com."
